These terms govern merchants using YourFirstStore to create and operate an online store. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. YourFirstStore provides store hosting, design and AI tools, order management, and integrations with payment and domain providers. You are responsible for checking AI-generated content before publishing it, including product descriptions and store policies.
We may update these terms. We will give notice of material changes before they apply to an existing paid subscription. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect. The date above identifies the current version.
Provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. You retain ownership of the content and branding you upload. You give us permission to host, display, and process that content to operate your store and the features you choose to use. YourFirstStore retains its rights in the platform software and branding.
You are the seller to your store customers. You set your prices and policies and are responsible for product accuracy, fulfilment, taxes, customer service, returns, and compliance with applicable law. You must not sell unlawful or counterfeit goods, infringe others' rights, send spam or malware, or misuse the platform. Stripe's terms also apply when you connect a Stripe account to accept payments.
When you register with a card, a store subscription and its 14-day free trial start immediately, even if you have not created or finished a store. Your card is not charged for the subscription at registration. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first subscription charge of US$15 is due when the 14 days end, and the subscription renews at US$15 per month after that. The signup subscription covers your first store. Additional stores require their own subscriptions and do not restart your signup trial. You can cancel during the trial from Account and billing after verifying your email, or from store settings once the plan is linked to a store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period. Subscription payments are refundable where required by applicable law.
Customer payments processed through YourFirstStore carry a standard fee of 3.5% of the sale amount plus 30 smallest currency units per payment, including Stripe processing (for example, US$0.30 or A$0.30, or ¥30 for a JPY payment). An agreed store-specific rate replaces the standard rate for new eligible payments. Existing customer subscriptions may retain the rate set when they were created. This fee is separate from the store subscription. Stripe handles payment processing and connected-account onboarding.
If you buy a domain through us, we register it in our Cloudflare account using the legal registrant details you provide. You are listed as the registrant contact; we administer DNS, renewals, and transfer requests on your behalf. Your purchase is also subject to the Cloudflare Domain Registration Agreement. You must keep your contact details accurate and promptly verify any email Cloudflare sends to the registrant address. Failure to verify may put the domain on hold.
The first-year price and annual renewal price are shown in USD before payment. The renewal price is fixed from the original quoted Cloudflare renewal cost plus 20%. Renewal requires a separate payment before expiry; if it is not received in time, the domain may expire. Cloudflare does not refund a completed registration, so we do not offer change-of-mind refunds after registration. This does not affect any rights or remedies you have under applicable law.
Cancelling your store subscription does not cancel your domain registration or transfer it. Your store may go offline, while the domain remains registered until it expires or is transferred. Contact [email protected] to update registrant details, request a transfer, or ask about your domain. Transfers and contact changes are subject to Cloudflare and registry rules, including any applicable transfer lock.
You may cancel a paid store subscription in store settings. The store stays active through the paid billing period, then goes offline if no active subscription or trial remains. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account, orders, or domain. To close your entire merchant account, sign in to the account page and confirm with your password. Closure is scheduled after your last paid store period. Registered domains, active customer subscriptions, and unfinished orders must be resolved first. You can separately request deletion of eligible personal data during closure. Some transaction, legal, fraud prevention, or domain records may need to be retained. See our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end access for fraud, unlawful activity, serious breaches of these terms, or security risks. We will consider the circumstances and provide notice where reasonably practicable. We will handle any merchant domain separately from store access and assist with a transfer subject to applicable rules.
We work to keep the platform available, but interruptions can occur. We are responsible for providing our services with the care and skill required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or changes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees. Any limit on our liability applies only to the extent the law permits it.
For questions about these terms, billing, or a domain, email [email protected].
